Retexturing A Model

Problem: Choose one of your previous models and add shading, lighting, and texturing to it. Render it out with a moving camera.
Solution: To start out I imported my couch model into the still life scene because the camera and lighting were already set up. The lighting used was a three point area light set up. I then added a cloth bump to a red blinn shader for the couch material. I used a high repeat count on the texture so that it would appear fuzzy. I think added a wood shader and bump to the legs. I wanted the background to be a nice purple cloth material so I created another blinn shader, made it purple and added a cloth bump to it. To prepare for rendering I had to change the FPS from 24 to 30. I think moved the pivot point of the camera to the center of the couch and keyed rotation about the Y-axis. I then set up a batch render to render out 60 frames of animation. |
